01 Does ProjectSAM offer educational licenses?

Yes. ProjectSAM offers educational licenses at a 30% discount of the commercial license, so at 70% of the full price. ProjectSAM only offers educational licenses on its separate boxed libraries, so not on its direct downloads or package deals.
Educational licenses may not be used in commercial projects or productions. To obtain an educational license discount coupon, we require proof of studentship or teachership, for example a scanned school/university ID card or official document. Please contact ProjectSAM directly for more information.

02 What are the limitations of an educational licenses?

| There is one important limitation to an educational license: educational licenses MAY NOT be used in commercial projects. In other words: you can not make money with it. As the name suggests, educational licenses are meant for students or teachers who wish to use our libraries in the context of their school or institution.

03 Can I later upgrade to a commercial license?

| Yes, you can upgrade from an educational license to a full commercial license at any time in the future for the difference in price. Please contact ProjectSAM directly for more information. Please note that you are violating the product license agreement when using an educational license in commercial projects that you are paid for.
