04 Is Symphobia 2 compatible with PowerPC Macs?

| No. Symphobia 2 is powered by Kontakt 4 technology which means that an Intel Mac is required, as well as OS X 10.5 or 10.6. Windows users require Windows 7, Vista or XP.

05 What amount of RAM is ideal for Symphobia 2?

| Symphobia 2 has a pretty low RAM footprint. With DFD enabled, the smaller patches use around 20-30 MB of RAM, the larger ones around 60-80 MB. The Multis can use up to 200 MB of RAM. A minimum of 2 GB of RAM is highly recommended.

06 Does Symphobia 2 run in 64 bit?

| Yes. Symphobia 2 is powered by Kontakt 4, which offers native 64 bit support on both Mac and Windows platforms. Please note that you need a 64 bit version of Windows if you wish to run Kontakt in 64 bit.

07 It is stated that Symphobia 2 has a 33 GB sample pool, yet it is only 20 GB on my hard drive?

| Kontakt 4.1 introduces lossless, compressed sample storing. Symphobia 2 uses this new feature and therefore takes up less DVD and hard drive space. The actual, uncompressed sample pool size for Symphobia 2, however, is 33 GB.

08 I love the Multis but I want more of them! Will you make more?

| Definitely! Because of the custom scripting the Symphobia 2 Multis are very time-consuming to make. We will add more Multis with each Symphobia 2 library update.

09 How many dynamic layers do the Legato Ensembles have?
|
| At this moment, for each Legato Ensemble we chose and recorded one dynamic layer. The Flute & Clarinet legato, for example, was recorded at mezzopiano, while the Violins in Octaves legato was recorded at forte.
