04 I have the old Multiformat version of True Strike. The installer for Mac keeps asking me for the DVD and doesn't want to continue.

The installer that is included with your older version of True Strike only works up to OS X 10.4. In 2009, we re-released our True Strike libraries as licensed Kontakt Player products, with improved programming and sample pool and offered a new installer. The old True Strike versions and the new installers are not compatible, however. We highly recommend upgrading to the new versions of True Strike. Apart from the library improvements, it also makes True Strike an official Kontakt library, meaning it will be easier to browse it using Kontakt's Libraries browser. If you do not wish to upgrade, then there is an alternative way to install your discontinued version of True Strike: - Copy the installer application from disc 1 onto your desktop. - Make a folder called DATA in the root of one of your hard drives. "Root" means it cannot be in any sub folders. The DATA folder should be in the first folder level of the hard drive. - Copy the files that are inside the DATA folder on disc 1 into the DATA folder you created on your hard drive. - Copy the files that are inside the DATA folder on disc 2 into the DATA folder you created on your hard drive. - Now eject all discs and start the installer that you copied to your desktop. - The installer should now work. - When the installation is done, you can safely delete the temporary DATA folder with the installer files
